Losanti is a great place to go for a quiet celebration. Service is excellent! The staff is always willing to give recommendations. However be prepared to spend a pretty penny. Their patio is temperature controlled so you can eat outside all year round, which is rare in Cincy. I definitely recommend getting a table by the window so you can see Washington park. It's a gorgeous view especially in Spring and Summer! Get an appetizer. This is a place you want to do it up! I love their mussels and kale Caesar salads. My favorite main course is steak and frites. It never fails to impress. The chimichurri is to die for. The frites have the perfect amount of Parmesan and they taste even better later in the night! Their food is very filling but again, if you're at Losanti, you've gotta do it big! Dessert. The butter cake is so decadent. It's sweet and dense and buttery. It pairs perfectly with ice cream and the Carmel drizzle just takes it over the top so good. 10/10 if you love sweets, order it.

Losanti offers a pleasant dining experience with its cozy outdoor seating and a menu that shines in certain areas. The oysters were fresh and delicious, a real highlight. While the steak was just okay, the desserts more than made up for it -- they are absolutely to die for!

Came here with a group of friends on a Friday night. We made our reservation ~1 week out for the late evening and all that was available was outdoor seating, so if you have specific seating in mind, book ahead! We were promptly seated on arrival and our server was attentive and helpful! We got an array of appetizers including a dozen oysters on the half shell, the burrata, and steak tartare. All three were delicious and great to share among 6 people! For our main dishes, we got an assortment of pastas and one person got the Sea Bass special. None of us got any cuts of meat, but be aware they charge by the ounce. They also have a wonderful cocktail menu and a nice selection of whiskeys! Definitely check this place out if you are looking for a good bite in OTR.

We loved the vibes of this restaurant! Service was great. The kale caesar.. OMG, i could eat everyday. Mussels were amazing. Onion soup was a bit too sweet for us but still good! It made our date night perfect!

1) Espresso Martini - Great. We subb'd the vodka for rum (what i usually do-- and wow , very good. Flavorful.) One of the best I've had. 2) The focaccia was not what I was expecting it to look like, but it was VERY tasty. Saved some too to have with the sauce of the pasta. 3) PASTA. Fresh. You can tell. I really enjoyed the flavors. The Vodka pasta sauce was very very good. Truly. The Truffle pasta was also very good (i just love anything truffle). 4) Butter cake-- pretty good, but honestly I could've passed, it was really big and just too much caramel for me but it was not bad by any means bc the texture was very good. It was Okay! Also, Great vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service was 10/10! Such a friendly staff. Thank you Losanti! A 100% recommended spot for Cincinnati.

Cincinnati, here I come... I chose Losanti for my first dinner spot. It's located in the "Over the Rhine" neighborhood. Thank you for the brilliant welcome old fashioned! Very well balanced and not too sweet. Just the way I like it. Elijah Craig didn't hurt. This spot is named in honor of the city's founding name, Losantiville, which combines words in four languages to mean "the city across from the mouth of the Licking River." I sat on the patio and ordered the Caesar salad with tons of shaved parm. And you know I got the swordfish. We're at a steakhouse and steakhouses over compensate for their fish dishes and this is just more evidence of that. The swordfish had a Mediterranean flare with olives and capers. Delicious. I'm judging you if you don't get the skillet cookie.

The Mr. and I had a lovely pre-theatre dinner here a few weeks ago. I've been hearing great things about Losanti over the past few yeas and felt this visit was long overdue. As it was a last minute reservation, we were relegated to the back, enclosed outdoor dining area. At first, it was a bit chilly so I requested assistance and our wonderful waitress turned on the heat lamp directly above our table and all was well again! For starters, we shared the burrata which was prepared quite differently with raisins. I would have appreciated a bit of crunch such as actual walnut pieces but it was tasty nonetheless. He went with the filet mignon and I the gnocchi and we shared a side of the charred broccoli. His filet was prepared correctly and had the perfect amount of char. My gnocchi was creamy although I felt the cream to pasta mixture was a bit unbalanced (not enough gnocchi.) The charred brocoli was a winner. I've never has such airy, crispy broccoli that tasted nearly identical to crispy Brussels sprouts. I always appreciate a restaurant being able to create mocktails when not a part of the regular drink menu (although it wouldn't take much to add a section.) I opted for the Queen Bee and the thyme really stood out and was refreshing. For dessert we had to try the butter cake which was as expected (soft, warm and huge). I ended the meal with a perfect cappuccino that was thankfully not lukewarm which many restaurants tend to do. Thanks Losanti and I'll be back to try a few other dishes for sure!
